Lynn Morrissey

Biographical Information

Ms Morrissey began working at Holy Rosary School as a classroom aide in 1999. The following year, she taught fifth grade. During her time at Holy Rosary School, she also taught fourth grade. Ms Morrissey currently has a seventh-grade homeroom. She teaches sixth- and seventh-grade English and fifth-grade Religion, Science, and Social Studies. She is also team teaching eighth-grade Science with Mrs. Bresnahan.

Ms Morrissey has also worked with the school’s Extended Care program for many years. For the past two years she was the Student Council co-Advisor. She has also been a coach for the Declamation Team, and she currently organizes the yearly fifth-grade trip to Nature’s Classroom as well.

Ms Morrissey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Concentration in Elementary Education from Assumption College in 1999. In 2004, she earned her Master’s in Education from Fitchburg State University. She holds an active Massachusetts Teaching License.
