Suzanne Racette
Biographical Information
Prior to becoming a teacher, Ms. Racette worked as a research assistant for five and a half years at the Harvard Forest in Petersham, MA. While there she earned a Master's degree in Botany from the University of Massachusetts. She obtained a teaching certificate in Elementary Education from Fitchburg State University in the fall of 1999.
Ms. Racette has been teaching at Holy Rosary School since 2000, when she was hired as the computer teacher. Since her educational and professional background is in the field of science, after two years she began teaching science as well. She currently teaches computers to students in grades 3-8 in the mornings and science to students in grades 6 and 7 in the afternoons.
Ms. Racette is a parishioner of Holy Cross Parish in E. Templeton. There she is the Administrator of Religious Education for grade 6-11 and also co-chairperson of the Living Faith Team. She enjoys reading, doing Sudoku and crossword puzzles on the computer, and going to the movies with her two daughters. She is currently learning to crochet.
